This is a list of the major major cities in Volatia and descriptions.
Ran
Capital City
Gods: Arthan and Arthanica
Population: Approximately 100,000
Inhabitants: Mostly nobles, but many commoners and peasants as well. King of Volatia lives here.
System of Leadership: King of Volatia, chosen by bloodline. When King dies, his son takes over. If no son, daughter rules.
Key Buildings:
Palace: This is where the King resides. The Infirmary isn't too far away from the Throne Room, and it holds many hidden passageways.
Barracks: Where the military of Ran spend their shifts, if they aren't patrolling or off at war with someone. Includes training room, resting room, changing room, weapon room, and of course the Bedrooms for those soldiers that have no family.
Library: Second only to Mullonia's library, this library holds records of all of Volatia. It also has maps and information on cities.
Anrathia
Dead City
God: Currently Nekomius
Population: 0
Inhabitants: Monsters
Key Buildings:
City Hall: The only place that you can be attacked by monsters both day and night. In this Hall, the monsters were created. Contains many winding halls.
Mullonia
Knowledge City
God: Mullon
Population: 10,000
Inhabitants: Monks and Mages. Monks are die-hard worshipers of the Gods. They all come to study.
System of Leadership: Head Monk takes care of everything, but he doesn’t exercise much power, believing everybody to be equal. When Head Monk dies, a new one is chosen based on faith.
Key Buildings:
Library: The largest library in Volatia, this houses many books on spells, the history of Volatia, descriptions of races, plants, animals, and other things.
Grand Temple: The largest temple in the city, dedicated to the magic god, Mullon. Many rooms in this temple are labs used for understanding magic, or testing out new spells.
City of Cascadas
City of Waterfalls
God: Aquia
Population: Approximately 25,000
Inhabitants:Many nobles and commoners. Mostly farmers. There are also many architects living here. Lady of the Water resides here.
System of Leadership:Lady of the Water is the highest-standing architect. When she dies, a new one is chosen based on skill. If male, becomes Lord of the Water.
Key Buildings:
Palace: The very walls themselves have flowing water in them. The palace lies behind Izul Falls, the largest waterfall in the world. On the roof of the palace lies small openings where excess water can flow in, making the walls, floors, and columns of the palace flow with water. Everything is translucent to show the flowing water. The palace has many halls and here lies the Lady of the Water, the richest noble in the City, who oversees the City and its architecture.
Aquia Temple: A large temple dedicated to the Goddess of Water, Aquia. This temple lies behind Serenity Falls, and is shaped with many canals running through. Priests have to walk on small plank-like walkways to get around, or else swim. The artifact Lily in the Water lies in this temple.
Yamana
Pirate City
God: Vandalon, Desena, and Nekomius
Population: 15,000
Inhabitants: Pirates of Yamana, ruled by the Pirate King. Pirates have a red dot on their forehead, signifying they are Pirates of Yamana.
System of Leadership: Pirate King. When the King dies, a new one is chosen through a race. Ships are raced all the way to Port Lithica, winner being the Pirate King, losers either swearing loyalty or being killed.
Key Buildings:
Pirate's Palace: This is the building where the Pirate King dwells. Filled with many dungeons and other torture chambers, each of them with a window so the Pirate King can look on. Security is top-notch.
Bloody Tavern: The largest tavern in Yamana, and also the nearest to the docks. All the pirates and sailors hang around this tavern. With three floors, the first completely occupied by the bar, and the rest bedrooms, it holds many servants, mostly women.
Docks: The docks are the largest in the world, but no outsiders get to see them unless they plan on spending the rest of their lives in the dungeons. Off to the side rests the Pirate King's vessel, always closely guarded. All vessels docked in Yamana's docks are Pirate ships. If they aren't, they soon will be.
Vandal
Home of the Assassins
God: Nekomius and Vandalon
Population: 2000
Inhabitants: Assassins or assassins-to-be.
System of Leadership: Commander rules this City. Chosen by skill in fighting. Contest is given out; the trick to winning is to kill the opponents in their sleep!
Key Buildings:
Grim Academy: A place where all the young ones train to be future killers. The instructors are some of the best killers on Volatia. Many training rooms, classrooms, and dormitories.
Commander's Home: You do not want to enter this place without a super good reason. The Commander runs Vandal, and the only reason he would want to invite anyone to his home would be to discuss war or your death.
Port Lithica
Largest Port City
God: Morani and Aquia
Population: 10,000
Inhabitants: Many nobles, commoners, and peasants, and a lot of sailors. Soldiers are tight in this city, especially around the nobles’ area.
System of Leadership: Head Trader, just Merchant who gets the most trade. Oversees all of the Docks. When he dies, a new one is elected.
Key Buildings:
Docks: Second largest dock itself, just barely under Yamana's port. However, these docks are much safer for any boats to come into.

Treetop City
God: Treena
Population: 20,000
Inhabitants: Mostly elves
System of Leadership: Descendants of the Founding Family
Key Buildings:
Treetop Palace: Since every other building is built in the trees, it only makes sense for this one to be as well. The palace hangs in the largest tree in the Serenity Forest, with many halls and rooms.
Treena Temple: A temple next to the palace designed to worship Treena, the Goddess of the Forest.

Romance City
God: Cerenia
Population: 16,000
Inhabitants: Mix of elves and humans, even amount of wealth.
System of Leadership: Descendants of the founding family.
Key Buildings:
Cerenia Shore: The most romantic shore to be on at night, many couples come here. The trees dotted along the shore provide privacy and the shore has a nice view of the lake.
Cerenia Temple: Used as a Wedding Chapel, it is set on a cliff overlooking Lake Moon. Upstairs holds private rooms for coupling.

God: Lune
Population: 10,000
Inhabitants Many elves, but humans as well.
System of Leadership: Elected ruler
Key Buildings:
Lune Temple: Large temple dedicated to the God, Lune. At night, the many mirrors in the temple reflect the moonlight, giving the temple a silver glow.

God: Aquia
Population: 4000
Inhabitants: Anybody willing to put up with the constant flooding.
System of Leadership: Usually a famed architect who knows how to channel the waters.
Key Buildings
Aquia Temple: The only building that is on the ground. It has tunnels leading to it from the platform, allowing citizens access to it even during flooding.

God: Morani, Arthan, and Arthanica
Population: 30,000
Inhabitants: Mostly ones of Noble Blood
System of Leadership: Richest Noble for a five-year period
Key Buildings:
Morani Temple: Great temple made mostly of gold. Located next to Palace.
Hildrin Palace: Palace half-made of gold. Richest Noble lives here.
Ran Summer Palace: A palace used when the King feels he needs to take a break. Usually comes during the Summer, when the air is warm and the ocean is sparkling.

Hunting City
God: Aquia and Archi
Population: 23,000
Inhabitants: Mostly hunters and their families
System of Leadership: Best hunter for the season gets to sit on The Hunter's throne.
Key Buildings:
Fur Palace: Not actually a palace, just a building where whale and animal fur would be processed and sold, or shipped out.
Hunter's Bar: A tavern branching off from the Hunter's Palace, biggest one in Winscon.
Hunter's Palace: Home of The Hunter. Filled with hunter trophies from past.
Yamas
Linked City
God: Morani
Population: 60,000
Inhabitants: Wide variety of races, professions, and class.
System of Leadership: Whoever is leading in the Trading gets to be Leader of a Thousand Trades.
Key Buildings:
Docks: Where all the action starts! Ships from all over the lakes come in here to trade. Goods Warehouse is also located here.
Thousand Trades Square: Where all the goods are sold.
Kylan
Transport City
God: Aquia
Population: 40,000
Inhabitants: Mix of classes
System of Leadership: At the beginning of four years, those who want to be the leader will participate in a race around Lake Moon. The winner will be the Moving King.
Key Buildings:
Docks: There are actually two, but the main one is on Lake Moon. Many raceboats are in these docks, ready to transport people to the different cities on the Tetra Lakes.

God: Pyromia
Population: 12,000
Inhabitants: Anybody willing to stand the heat.
System of Leadership: A mage who is skilled in the arts of Flame Magic. Called: Pyromia's Heir. When they die, a new mage is chosen through competition.
Key Buildings:
Pyromia Temple: Intensely hot building, it's the only building above-ground. Many go and pray, but prayers are short because some can't stand the heat.
Fire Palace: Located underground with the rest of the houses, this temple is designed to stay lighted 24/7. Nobody knows how, but fires never seem to go out in here.

Population: 11,000
Inhabitants: Anybody willing to stand the heat.
System of Leadership: Another Fire Mage. Same as Baylor, only named Pyromia's Subject.
Key Buildings:
Calor Square: A point for much trading and fire shows.
Morania
City of Legends
God: Morani, Arthan, and Arthanica
Population: 70,000
Inhabitants: Mostly nobles, but Dragons and other races tend to visit.
System of Leadership: The True Heir was meant to be the ruler of Morania, and Volatia, but since they decided to keep the capital city Ran, Morania is now just a popular city. After the first True Heir died, their descendant chose not to take the throne, so a Steward rules until the descendant does decide to come back. Only the True Heir can sit on the throne of Morania.
Key Buildings:
Golden Palace: Palace where the True Heir lives throughout their reign. Holds Throne of Morania. Made completely of gold.
Morani Temple: Branches off from the palace, made also of gold.
The Cities
Tanrith
Military City
God: Vandalon
Population: 6,000
Inhabitants: Mostly soldiers ready for battle to protect the Cities. Also soldiers families.
System of Leadership: Six Senators rule over Tanrith, with the Protectress being like an “advisor” for them.
Key Buildings
Infirmary: Only place for the wounded soldiers. Head Nurse resides here.
War Room: Place where the Six Senators met with the Protectress to discuss the defense of Tanrith, and possibly other subjects.

Population: 8000
Inhabitants: Mostly scholars
System of Leadership: The Sage, the most knowledged scholar of the world. When he/she dies, a competition is held to see who knows the most about the world, the winner becoming the Sage.

Town Square: Every merchant who is worth something has a stall in this area. With the most wide variety of goods anywhere, it's the place to shop.

Arthan Temple: A large temple dedicated to Father Universe, Arthan. The ruler of Katin resides in this temple as well.

Inhabitants: Mostly farmers
System of Leadership: Leadership changes every year. The farmer with the best and most harvest earns the City, and gets to decide what farmers will make what crops.
Key Buildings:
Harvest Tower: A large building where all the harvest is taken at the end of the year to be processed and shipped out to houses or other Cities for sale.
Head Farmer's Farm: The leader of the City will get to farm on this land, the most fertile farm on the mountain.
